Rachel Ellis is an advocate for workplace fairness and the advancement of employee rights. Ms. Ellis regularly appears in front of Colorado’s State and Federal Courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, and the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment.
Kiron Kothari

Kiron Kothari is a fierce advocate for the advancement of employee rights. Mr. Kothari provides counsel to employees in both the private and public sector, regarding such issues as workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, unpaid wages, contractual disputes, and unemployment benefits.
Rachel Ellis
MANAGING PARTNER
Rachel E. Ellis of Livelihood Law, LLC is an advocate for workplace fairness and the advancement of employee rights. Ms. Ellis provides counsel to private sector and federal government employees; representative matters include discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, unpaid commission and wages, contractual disputes, non-competition agreements, severance negotiations, and unemployment benefits. Additionally, she is fiercely devoted to legislative efforts that protect Colorado workers.
Ms. Ellis also helps people who can no longer work get the social security disability benefits they have earned. This process can be long and confusing, which is disheartening, but she helps clients through the process from application through appeals.
Ms. Ellis regularly appears in front of the Colorado Legislature, Colorado’s State and Federal Courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Colorado Civil Rights Commission, and the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment. Ms. Ellis is a former Officer and current Board Member of the Colorado Plaintiffs Employment Lawyers Association, and is a past-Board Member of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association and the Colorado Symphony REMIX Board for Young Professionals.
Michelle Gibson
ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Michelle Gibson is a passionate advocate who enjoys helping her clients navigate through the civil legal process to achieve justice. Ms. Gibson’s practice areas encompass all areas of Labor and Employment Law, including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
Prior to joining Livelihood Law, LLC. Ms. Gibson worked at Bachus & Schanker, LLC and the Colorado State Public Defender. Ms. Gibson obtained her juris doctorate at Washington and Lee University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was an active member of the Washington and Lee Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice and Vice Magister of Phi Delta Phi International Honor Society. Ms. Gibson obtained her undergraduate degree in Political Science, Russian Studies, and Gender and Women’s Studies from University of Arizona where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys watching the Colorado Rockies, attending concerts, reading, and hiking.

Prior to joining Livelihood Law, LLC in 2021, Mr. Kothari worked as a Federal Investigator for the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where he was inducted into the Chair’s Circle of Excellence. Mr. Kothari obtained his juris doctor at the University of Colorado Law School. In his free time, Kiron enjoys hiking and playing board games with his wife and son.
Amber Klein

At Livelihood Law, Ms. Klein provides paralegal support on a variety of employment matters and enjoys combining her interest in the law, litigation, and civil rights with her desire to help people.

Ms. Ho is a creative and administrative professional with experience providing exceptional support to those interested in thriving despite challenging conditions. She believes in thinking critically, acting with empathy, and ensuring that everyone has equal opportunities to succeed.
Amber Klein
PARALEGAL
Amber Klein joined Livelihood Law as a paralegal in March 2018. After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BS in Journalism with an emphasis in advertising, Ms. Klein spent six years working in marketing and advertising where she learned about various types of communication and how to effectively market any business. In April 2017, she earned her Paralegal Certificate from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
In May 2017, she started working as a paralegal at Adoption Choices of Colorado where she assisted adoptive families in realizing their dream of adoption and birth parents in finding families for their unborn children.
At Livelihood Law, Ms. Klein provides paralegal support on a variety of employment matters and enjoys combining her interest in the law, litigation, and civil rights with her desire to help people. She enjoys the complexity of employment and civil rights issues, and we appreciate her commitment to keeping the entire firm organized. In her free time, Ms. Klein enjoys running agility with her dog, Kirra.

Andrea Dreskin
RECEPTIONIST
Andrea Dreskin joined Livelihood Law as the receptionist in March of 2017 and became the office manager in March of 2018. After graduating from Smith College with a BA in East Asian Language and Culture, Ms. Dreskin returned home to Denver and enrolled in the Art Institute of Colorado. She quickly found an internship at a portrait studio specializing in children and families and eventually became the office manager.
Ms. Dreskin was drawn to working for Livelihood Law because the position combines her administrative and design experience with her passion for helping people. Her sunny disposition brightens the day of everyone she speaks with. In her free time, you can usually find Ms. Dreskin photographing everything from people to landscapes or exploring Colorado trails with her family and dog Peaches.
Ms. Dreskin has returned to the part-time role of receptionist. She is currently back in school with the goal of becoming a speech language pathologist.
