EEOC SUES RESTAURANT FOR SEXUAL HARASSMENT

EEOC AGE DISCRIMINATION CASE

SUPREME COURT RULING ON LGBTQ RIGHTS
Justice for all is not inevitable. It won’t come without doing the work to manifest our values. The Court’s decision to hear this argument is a historic moment for transgender rights. If our Supreme Court decides that the current civil rights laws do not provide the protection that these individuals deserve, we must work to change the law.
PREGNANCY DISCRIMINATION AT NETFLIX
In addition to being subject to discrimination based solely on gender, many women also suffer workplace discrimination based more specifically on their pregnancy. This is a problem at all types of companies, regardless of their size or status. Case in point? Tania Zarak is taking a stand against this type of unfair treatment in her role as an executive at Netflix.
CO FAMLI ACT VOTE
The CO FAMLI Act is good for our economy because it prevents families from losing wages, facing bankruptcy, or relying on public assistance. Parents who took leave report lower levels of using public assistance and lower healthcare costs.
BREASTFEEDING CASE WIN
The Workplace Accommodations for Nursing Mothers Law in Colorado protects the right to take breaks to express breast milk. A new mother in Delaware won $1.5 million due to how the fast food restaurant mistreated her.
