The Women’s March is an amazing opportunity to speak up about the issues and changes you are passionate about. We love the energy, the passion, the speakers, and the signs. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts to the organizers who dedicated so much time and effort to ensure this event went smoothly. We also want to thank the police officers and city officials for working with them.
We appreciate everyone who attended (in person or in spirit) and hope to see you at the 2019 Women’s March. The real work begins now that the crowds have dissipated.
Here are 4 ways that you can keep showing up:
1) Pay attention to the issues you care about.
- Educate yourself.
- Speak up.
- Read responsible media.
- Be a critical thinker.
- Don’t be swayed by clickbait or headlines.
- Join political social media groups so that you know when to make a telephone call or show up at a rally, a meeting, or some politician’s office.
2) Become a volunteer or a member of an organization doing the work.
